Hearing of case against 3 former BNP stalwarts not held

Hearing of the case against three former BNP stalwarts for aiding and abetting JMB militants was not held at the Third Court of Rajshahi Additional District and Sessions Judge yesterday.The BNP leaders are Barrister Aminul Haq, Ruhul Kuddus Talukhdar Dulu and Nadim Mostafa. Statements of the witnesses were scheduled to be recorded yesterday. But the judge did not record statements of witnesses due to death of lawyer Sayed Ali Hasan. Judge ASSM Jahirul Haq is likely to record statements of witnesses today. The court recorded statements of two witnesses including the plaintiff and that of a torture victim, Ayub Ali Pramanik, on June 25.
