Leaders Biman recorded an effortless 3-0 win over Wari in yesterday's AB Bank Senior Division Table Tennis super league at the Woodenfloor Gymnasium.

Edison, Pappu and Hamlet won their matches without a flinch against Baban, Shahed and Rokin respectively.

Reigning champions Sheikh Russel won their second match also in straight sets against Ajax but Mostafa (against Gautam) and Kachi (against Monir) both dropped a set each after Mahbub's easy win over Munna.

In the women's league, holders Abahani outplayed Moler TTC 3-0, Dhaka Youngs blanked Armenian Girls 3-0 while Bangladesh Chemical and Perfumery Society also defeated Lalbagh TTA by the same margin.

OPEN TENNIS
Bangladesh Tennis Federation will organise the Dhaka Open tennis competition tournament from July 5-10 in Dhaka. The competition will be held in six categories with a total of Tk 62,000 prize money.

DRU CRICKET
The media cricket tournament organised by Dhaka Reporters Unity will begin in the city on July 6. The six-a-side competition, sponsored by Pepsi, will be held at the Maulana Bhasani National Hockey Stadium turf.
