Schools and coaching centres
Azmi Syed, Dhaka
It is high time to notice that children these days are more readily leaving school than before. Is this because of the coaching centres that are mushrooming around the city or is it something else? School life promotes not only an opportunity of healthy competition but also a chance for building a social-life. The purpose of it all is not only just education but an overall improvement. It is more like a foundation of every student's life. However, when students tend to leave school, they are deprived of a major element in their lives. Discipline and coordination is also a noticeable fact from which students are cut-off. Coaching is not a reliable source and since it is not a continuous process (as school), it does not render the effect of schooling. Therefore, I firmly believe that besides taking the help of private tutors, parents should persuade their children to attend school.
