PSC members
M. Omar Faruq Khan, Dhaka
It is a good sign that at last six members of the PSC resigned to pave the way for reconstituting the institution. It will help to bring back the image of the body. But only resignation of the members is not enough. If the viva voce of the 27th BCS can be cancelled due to allegation of corruption, then why those who were involved in the deals will remain out of the purview of law? It cannot be a permanent solution. To remove corruption all the parties involved in shady deals should be brought to justice. Why only the successful candidates would suffer? So, we hope the CTG will create an example by punishing the persons involved in corrupt practices, so that no one in future commits such misdeeds.
