The victim was identified as Advocate Din Mohammad, 45, son of one Mokbul Ahmed of Lalkhan Bazar area.

Police found Din Mohammad unconscious under the Dewanhat Overbridge in the port city at around 12.30am and sent him to Chittagong Medical College Hospital (CMCH) where the on-duty doctors declared him dead.

A mark of injury was found in his head, said the Double-mooring police.

An unnatural death (UD) case was filed with the Double-mooring Police Station.
