Low over Bay intensifies

The low pressure over east central Bay and its adjoining areas has intensified into a well-marked low over the same area.It is likely to intensify further and move in northwesterly direction, a warning message of the Met Office said yesterday. Maritime ports of Chittagong, Cox's Bazar and Mongla have been advised to hoist distant cautionary signal number one. All fishing boats and trawlers over north Bay and deep sea have been advised to come close to the coast and proceed with caution till further notice.
