Managing Director and Chief Editor of BSS Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury and the Chief Operating Officer of MetroNet Syed Almas Kabir signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.

As per the agreement, the newspapers, TV stations and other news agencies will be able to connect to BSS through the fiber optic based Metropolitan Area Network of MetroNet to access current news updates with videos and photographs.

BSS Chief News Editor SM Zahurul Alam, Managing Editor Mokarram Hossain, General Manager Md Riazuddin Khan, MetroNet Assistant Manager Mahbub Mushtaque Joy, Marketing Executive Md Shamim Ahmed and Accounts Executive Habib Sikder were also present on the occasion.
