Politicians' misdeeds

I do not really understand how I should express my deep shock at what I have read, heard and seen recently in the newspapers. Abdul Jalil and Babar have revealed how foolish we were! We loved our leaders because we had sympathy for their struggle to bring back democracy. Besides, one is the daughter of the founder of Bangladesh and the other is the wife of a popular president. People loved them because they thought that nobody could think about their welfare better than them. They elected them every time without any hesitation. They gathered, in spite of all hazards, to hear their voices. They treated them as their well wishers.

I really want to ask them how much power can make them happy, how much money can pacify their greed. Do they really have answers? How beautifully they lied with the people and how nicely they broke their promises!

We, the younger generation, always think about our country and think about doing something that will bring collective good. We really need good leadership and we need to create an environment, so that honest people can come to politics and can play a vital role for the welfare of the country. I certainly hope that this government will continue its drive against corruption.
