3 muggers held with 28 mobile sets

Police arrested three muggers, including a woman, with 28 mobile phone sets at Shahbagh in the city on Monday night. The arrestees were identified as Mohammad Kabir, 26, Mohammad Shahadat, 22 and Nurun Nahar, 20. Police sources said a group of 5/6 muggers snatched 28 mobile sets from Shakil, who was going to Mohammadpur by a rickshaw after purchasing the mobile phone sets from Motaleb Plaza. When police was informed about the incident, they immediately launched a raid and arrested the muggers and recovered the mobile phone sets from their possession. A case was filed at the Shahbagh Police Station in this connection.
