700 video cameras worth Tk 1cr seized in Benapole

Bangladesh Rifles seized 700 video cameras worth about Tk 1 crore at Sadipur frontier here yesterday.Acting on a tip-off, they conducted drive along the border when a gang of smugglers went there to smuggle the video cameras to India from the country, BDR sources said. Sensing BDR presence, the smugglers fled the scene leaving behind the cameras. The seized video cameras were deposited to Benapole customs godown.
