Humayun Kabir new ambassador to United States

Humayun Kabir has been appointed the new ambassador of Bangladesh to the United States, a position left vacant for months.Kabir is currently serving as the high commissioner of Bangladesh to Australia, says a foreign ministry press release. A top-graduate and later a teacher at Dhaka University's political science department, Kabir has previously served as the ambassador to Nepal and several senior foreign ministry posts.
