Md Afsaruddin of Jangalia Para in Gazipur Sadar filed the case with a cognisance court accusing the six persons of grabbing his land in 2001 and setting up a unit of Aamber Cotton Mills there. The other accused are their employees Enamul Haque, Md Kamrul, Shafique and Mostofa.

Magistrate Raushan Jahan of the cognisance court ordered the officer-in-charge of Joydevpur Police Station to investigate the allegations and take legal action on the basis of investigation.

In the case, the complainant alleged that the accused grabbed his land and erected barbed-wire fence around the land in October 2001. They also demolished the rooms on the land and felled trees. Later, they set up No. 2 unit of Amber Cotton Mills there, he added.

With this case, a total of three cases were filed against MA Hashem in the last one week.
