Compartment of goods train derails

A compartment of a goods train derailed after a CNG run three-wheeler auto-rickshaw hit the train at Tejgaon level crossing in the city yesterday.No casualties, however, was reported after the incident as the driver and two passengers of the auto-rickshaw managed to jump from the vehicle. The train smashed the auto-rickshaw dragging it for 30 yards. Compartment of the train derailed following the accident. Trains operated on one of the two lines until 4:00pm after the incident. Vehicular movement remained suspended for 20 minutes at the Tejgaon level crossing following the incident.
