Injured Bangladeshi peacekeepers and family members of those who were killed or died at UN peacekeeping missions, will be accorded a reception at Bangladesh-China Friendship Conference Centre in the city on May 29 to mark the International Peacekeeping Day, says a press release of Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

Chief Adviser to the caretaker government Dr Fakhruddin Ahmed will attend the function as the chief guest.

Invitation letters have already been sent to the wounded peacekeepers and relatives of the deceased to join the programme.

Two relatives of the deceased peacekeepers can attend the function and have been requested to report at 17 East Bengal at Chairman Bari, Banani, in the city by 5:00pm on Sunday. The retired injured peacekeepers have been asked to report by 5:00pm on Monday.
