One beaten to death for stealing in Bagerhat

A man was beaten to death by a mob for stealing in Harikhali area of the district town early yesterday.The dead was identified as Gazi Abdur Razzak alias Kalai Khokan, 45, son of Gazi Menhaz Uddin. Police said Razzak was caught red-handed while stealing from a shop at about 4:50am. The mob beat him up and also gouged out his eyes. Later, he was rushed to the Sadar hospital where he died.
