5-day programme of Nazrul Institute begins tomorrow
Nazrul Institute organises a five-day programme beginning from tomorrow in the city to mark the 108th birth anniversary of national poet Kazi Nazrul Islam, says a press release.The programme will begin with children's art and Nazrul song competition tomorrow followed by a recitation competition on Thursday. A three-week 'Nazrul Boimela' (book fair) will also begin on May 25 at Public Library in Shahbagh. The other programmes, including cultural programme and discussion, will be held at Nazrul Institute auditorium. Nazrul experts, eminent singers and successors of Nazrul will take part in the discussion and cultural function. The programmes will end on May 27.
