5 members of 'Aggan Party' held in city

Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested five members of an 'Aggan Party' in the city yesterday. They were identified as Mohammad Nazrul Islam, 26, Mohammad Abdur Rahim alias Shabu, 27, Mohammad Ali Hossain, 45, Mohammad Amin Hossain and Julekha Kabir Ratna, 28. Police also seized drugs that they used to make people unconscious and rob their valuables. The criminals used to carry out their activities at Gabtali, Sayedabad, Mohakhali and Jatrabari bus terminals. Rab sources said they are now conducting raids at various spots to catch the rest of their accomplices. A case has been filed in this connection.
