Honesty

We have seen that the rich and educated people have the tendency of falling into the trap of corruption in Bangladesh. These so-called "enlightened and educated" barristers, bankers, businessmen and others coming apparently from respected families have ruined the respect they deserve.

In my opinion, the first criterion to select or elect people who will serve our country should be honesty. These people may not have a noble family background neither a "quality" education but they must be clean and honest. Take the examples of Lula in Brazil or Lech Walesa in Poland.
