EWU freshers' orientation held
The orientation programme of the newly admitted students for Summer Semester 2007 in different undergraduate programmes of East West University (EWU) was held at the university auditorium yesterday, says a press release.University Grants Commission Chairman Prof Nazrul Islam attended the programme as the chief guest while EWU Board of Directors President Jalaluddin Ahmed was the special guest. A total of 399 students enrolled in this semester in the undergraduate programmes in different subjects. Vice Chancellor Prof Mohammed Sharif as a programme chair highlighted the existing infrastructure facilities, qualified faculty members and other issues. Pro-VC Prof Mohammad Musa gave the welcome address.
