Six commuters stabbed, robbed in city

A gang of robbers looted valuables worth Tk 30,000 from six passengers of a human hauler after stabbing them at Mirpur in the capital last night.The gang of seven or eight robbers intercepted the Gabtoli-bound human hauler near Mirpur barrage sluice gate at around 8:15pm and robbed the passengers. The robbers stabbed the passengers when they tried to resist them. Of the injured, Kamal Hossain and Nilufar were taken to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital.
