The most respected and well known institution for higher studies in our country is Buet. Its name and fame is not confined to our territory alone. But it is a matter of great regret that the Buet authorities always behave strangely on a very sensitive issue. On all the government holidays related to Islamic religious festivals the university remains closed. But problem arises when festivals of other religions occur. The Buet authorities should look into the matter.
