Jamuna erosion

The Jamuna, the mighty river, is flowing through Sirajganj district. On its way to the south, it has been eroding the western bank over the years. A large number of people have been rendered shelter-less and helpless and hundreds of valuable institutions have been lost. So, the authorities concerned are requested to take proper measures to control erosion by the river.
