BTTB introduces computerised ledger system
Bangladesh Telegraph and Telephone Board (BTTB) yesterday introduced computerised ledger management system for the convenience of its subscribers, says a press release.The system will be effective with the circulation of bills of April, 2007 and all the revenue offices in the capital will come under the system. With the introduction of the system, the subscribers will get printed bills on the first month of new telephone connection. The subscribers can get information about their payment immediately after paying their bills from the revenue office concerned. They will also be able to pay their telephone bills collecting printed forms from online. Subscribers' ledger can be updated from any revenue office in the capital. If there is any change in the bills for any specific reasons, the corrected copies can be collected from the revenue offices.
