Corruption and punishment
M. Faruque ,USA
While it is praiseworthy to see the crackdown on corruption, I do not believe sending identified corrupt and guilty people abroad will solve the problem. The corrupt and guilty must face justice at home.A case in point was the news of sending Arafat Rahman and Tarique Rahman abroad along with their mother. If anybody is proved to be guilty of amassing huge fortune by illegal means and by plundering national resources, he should be given exemplary punishment so that this kind of abuse of power does not happen in the future. Once abroad, what is the guarantee that they will not try to come back to power again?
