Essay competition on combating trafficking held
Nari Unnayan Shakti (NUS) organised an essay competition on 'Combating trafficking in women and children' at its training centre at Banasree in the city yesterday, says a press release.A total of 60 students from different schools in Khilgaon area took part in the event supported by Bangladesh Shishu Adhikar Forum. The competition was aimed at raising awareness among the children about the trafficking issue. Dr Sultan Muhammad Razzak, executive director, Forum for Culture and Human Development, was present at the prize giving ceremony as the chief guest while NUS Executive Director Afroza Parvin presided over the programme.
