Becks quick to de-blonde

Real Madrid midfielder David Beckham appeared for training on Wednesday with close-cropped hair, less than two weeks after the former England captain unveiled a new platinum blond hairstyle. Beckham, who turned 32 last week, said he cut his hair because of the arrival of warm weather in the Spanish capital and he did not like his new look. Now a fashion icon as much as a footballer, Beckham's platinum hairstye -- which he unveiled on April 26 -- made the front pages of Spain's daily sports newspapers. It was the player's tenth hairstyle since joining Real in 2004, according to sports newspapers AS and Marca.
