Solo flute recital by Ustad Azizul Islam

Sargam, a cultural magazine, in association with Laser Vision recently arranged a solo flute recital evening by Ustad Captain (Rtd) Azizul Islam. The event was held at the main auditorium, National Museum. The programme also included the launch of the album A Tribute To Waheedul Haque. Former chairman of BTRC, Syed Marghub Morshed, was the chief guest of the programme. Special guests at the programme were A F M Saifuddowla and Mita Haque. Ustad Azizul Islam played dhuns based on raga Shankara, Kirwani, Khamaaj, Humbir, Miyaki-malhar and more on his flute. The programme was conducted by Pragna Laboni.
