The attraction at the festival is the launching of five music albums featuring songs of Tagore, Nazrul, Atul Prasad and Lalon -- all produced by Bengal Foundation. As part of the festival, starting from May 6, every evening one album is launched at Bengal Shilpalaya. So far Ilora Ahmed Shukla's Srabono Jhulatey Badol Raatey featuring Atul Prasad's songs, Bulbul Islam's Gaaner Rotonhar featuring Tagore songs and an album featuring Tagore songs performed by children Megher Koley Roud Heshechhey have been launched at the festival. Yakub Ali Khan's album of Nazrul songs -- Nishi Bhorer Bela -- will be launched today and Chandana Majumdar's Bhober Ghatey featuring Lalon songs will be launched tomorrow.
