Plabon's father retired army sergeant Azadul Huq Sarker earlier filed a naraji petition against the earlier submitted charge sheet, alleging that names of three prime accused were dropped from it.

The supplementary charge sheeted was submitted against Palashbari Upazila BNP secretary Ziaul Huq Jewel, upazila Jubo Dal president Faridul Huq Rubel, Palashbari Motor Sramik Union secretary Suroj Huq Liton, Musfiqur Rahman Ripon, Liakat, Raihan, Abdul Mottaleb Bakul, Motiur Rahman, Saiful Islam, Benjir Ahmed, Liton, Abul Basher, Khalilur Rahman Mithu and Abdur Rashid.

Rajbul Huq Plabon who secured GPA-5 in SSC examinations from Palashbari High School in 2005 was allegedly dragged out of his father's cloth shop at Plashbari market on June 13, 2005 evening and beaten severely as his father declined to give a toll of Tk 20,000.

Critically injured Plabon was taken to Palashbari Health Complex and later removed to Rangpur Medical College Hospital. On the next day he was taken to Dhaka Medical college Hospital, where he died on June 15.

Plabon's father filed a case with Palashbari police station accusing 15 people for the murder. The accused included Ziaul Huq Jewel, Faridul Huq Rubel, Suruj Huq Liton and 12 others.

After investigation, CID in January this year submitted a charge sheet excluding the main accused Ziaul Huq Jewel, Faridul Huq Rubel and Suroj Huq Liton.

On filing of a naraji petition, the court ordered re-investigation of the murder case.
