The 'Novera Deepita Memorial Scholarship' will be awarded every year to a student achieving the highest marks in the BA (Hons) examinations under the journalism and mass communication department of Dhaka University. The nominee will receive Tk 15,000.

The scholarship programme comes into effect on July 27, the first death anniversary of Novera Deepita, a bright journalist with shining academic records.
