Valuables worth Tk 4 lakh looted from 2 city flats

Burglars took away 12 tolas of gold ornaments, around Tk 2.3 lakh in cash and other valuables from two flats at Dhalpur in Jatrabari in the city yesterday evening.Police sources said a gang of four to five entered the flats breaking open locks of the flats and made off with the cash and kinds worth over Tk 4 lakh. The dwellers of the flats at the second floor of a three-storey building were not in the flats during the incident.
