Butenis' new assignment

Madam Patricia A Butenis US Ambassador in Bangladesh is reported to be leaving Bangladesh for Iraq to join her new assignment. She was very busy in Bangladesh, especially during the political turmoil, trying to help resolve the stalemate. Her honest endeavours were found to be aimed at defusing tension and or bringing about some sort of reconciliation whether among the warring political parties or the constitutional guardians in the office of the Chief Advisor or the Election Commission. We surely will remember her contributions. But I cannot comprehend how and why her sincere efforts in our troubled days became so much appreciable to the Bush Administration that landed her to the blazing Iraq. In any case, that question is undoubtedly beyond our jurisdiction.
