"Prithibir Pothey Pothey' : A travel show on small screen

Filmmaker Shakur Majid has travelled to countries in Europe, different states of US, UAE, Chile in Latin America, Malaysia, Scotland, Thailand, China, among others. During these trips, Majid has filmed the locales that fascinate tourists all over the world. These videos, featured in the travel show Prithibir Pothey Pothey, are telecast on Rtv every Tuesday at 10:50pm. Prithibir Pothey Pothey stands apart from other travel shows in that it focuses on a certain theme or elaborates on a certain architectural wonder and its historic significance in each episode. So far 43 episodes have been aired. The new episodes of the programme beginning today will focus on China and its historically important places, such as the Great Wall of China, the Ming Tombs, Tiananmen Square and the Chinese Opera. The episodes will also focus on Chinese cities including the capital Beijing, Shanghai, Neijiang, and Kunming City.
