DUJ, BFUJ to stage sit-in today
Dhaka Union of Journalists (DUJ) and Bangladesh Federal Union of Journalists (BFUJ) will stage a sit-in in front of the Election Commission today protesting the harassment and restriction on on-duty journalists in the area, says a press release.In a joint statement BFUJ President Manjurul Ahsan Bulbul, Secretary General Abdul Jalil Bhuiyan, BFUJ President Altaf Mahmud and General Secretary Omar Farruk said such type of harassment on journalists across the country should come to an end. Otherwise, they would go for tougher agitations.
