21 deputy secys transferred


As part of the ongoing reshuffle in the administration, the government yesterday transferred 21 deputy secretaries (DS) to different ministries.

Of them, nine were given postings on deputation, according to a source in the establishment ministry.

Md Abu Taleb Mollah, Md Moin Uddin, Md Mizanur Rahman, NM Ziaul Alam, Javed Ahmed and Tapan Kumar Chakraborty were transferred to home, cabinet division, establishment, commerce and fisheries and livestock ministries.

Nasrin Akter, AAM Nasihul Kamal, Abdullah Al Mohsin Chowdury, Md. Hasanur Rahman, Mohsena Khan and Shafiquzzaman were transferred to education ministry, local government division, Election Commission Secretariat, establishment ministry, textile and jute ministry and communication ministry.

Md Azizar Rahman Mollah, Sheikh Alauddin, Md. Aminul Rab Chowdhury, Khandaker Rakibur Rahman and Md. Shafiqul Islam were transferred to education, cultural affairs, commerce and science and technology ministries on deputation.

Sahinul Islam, Md Abdur Rouf, ATM Mostafizur Rahman, and Osman Amin were given postings in the home, defence and shipping ministries on deputation.

The government also transferred 13 additional deputy commissioners (ADCs) and 114 upazila nirbahi officers (UNOs) yesterday.
