Shibir attacks female students of Carmichael College: 10 hurt

Ten female students of Rangpur Carmichael College were injured in an attack allegedly by Islami Chhatra Shibir on the campus yesterday.Campus sources said the Shibir activists swooped on the resident students of Taposhi Rabeya Hall, Begum Rokeya Hall and Jahanara Imam Hall of the college while they were demonstrating on the campus demanding their security. The Shibir men also beat up two photojournalists and snatched a camera.
