One injured in BSF firing


A Bangladeshi youth was injured seriously in firing by Indian Border Security Force (BSF) on Beurjhali border here yesterday.

The injured was identified as Yusuf Ali, 18, son of Kashemuddin.

Local and BDR sources said BSF troops of Borobilla camp opened fire on Yusuf when he was cutting grass near the border at about 3:00pm, leaving him seriously injured.

The injured was admitted to Sadar Hospital in a "critical condition", as one bullet hit him in the head.
