Body formed to resolve boundary problem between Sirajganj, Jamalpur

A five-member committee was formed yesterday to resolve the longstanding boundary problem between Sirajganj and Jamalpur districts.The committee has been asked to submit its recommendations at its convenient time. Official sources said the decision was taken at a meeting of senior government officials at the Deputy Commissioner's conference room. Dhaka Divisional Commissioner Abdul Bari, Rajshahi Divisional Commissioner Moslehuddin, Sirajganj DC Aminul Rab Chowdhury, Jamalpur DC M Hanif and high officials of Land Ministry attended the meeting.
