Cop drugged, robbed of mobile phone

A police constable was drugged and robbed of his mobile phone and some money inside a passenger bus coming from Narayanganj to Dhaka yesterday.Members of a gang known as 'Aggan party' drugged Constable Arifuzzaman in the bus as he was returning to Rajarbagh Police Lines from his village home at Araihazar in the morning, sources said. Staff of the bus left the plainclothes policeman at Gulistan Bus Stand in an unconscious state. Later, a police patrol team took him to Rajarbagh Police Lines Hospital. He was later shifted to Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
