Unidentified criminals strangled Customs Inspector Akbar Saeed of Customs Excise and Vat Commissionerate in Chittagong, to death on August 29.

At a meeting at National Board of Revenue (NBR) in the city on Tuesday, the leaders of Bangladesh and Dhaka-Rajshahi Customs, Excise and VAT Executive Officers also decided to submit a memorandum to the finance minister, state minister for home affairs and chairman of NBR.

The Association President Zahid Hossain, General Secretary Shafiul Alam, Committee Convener Mahmud Alam, Member Secretary Azimul Islam and former secretary general Nuruzzaman spoke at the meeting.
