The deceased are a thirty-year-old woman and a young girl of nine, both unidentified.

The locals informed the Police after seeing the bodies floating in the water near Wise Ghat.

The bodies have been sent to Sir Salimullah Medical College Hospital morgue for autopsy.

A boat capsized in Buriganga on Monday night while crossing the river. Police suspects the recovered bodies to be the passengers of the same boat.
