4 hattricks in school soccer


Four-goal Fakhrul Alam inspired Islamia High School of Mymen-singh trounce Rajur Bazar Collegiate School of Netrokona 6-0 in yesterday's banglalink tiger trophy National School Football Championship.

Fakhrul completed his hattrick in the first half while Sharif scored twice in the one-sided match at the Mymensingh Stadium.

Nawabganj Pilot High School of Jaipurhat brushed aside local side Peerganj High School 7-0 at the Thakurgaon Stadium with Raihan slotting a hattrick. Jahirul added two while Mushfiq and Shamim one each.

A treble by Wahid and a brace from Sumon gave home side Al Emdad High School a 6-1 win over Moulvibazar's Kamalganj Pilot High School at the Sylhet Stadium while Saifur Rahman scored the lone goal in Habiganj Masud Chowdhury High School's solitary goal win over Haji Kamar Ali High School of Sunamganj.

Sylhet Kakordia Terodal High School shared points with Ali Amjad High School (Moulvibazar) in a 1-1 draw at the same venue while Ali Bulachand High School got walkover against Habiganj High School.

Mominul's hattrick helped hosts Mominpur High School blank Jessore's Badshah Faisal Institute 5-0 at the Meherpur Stadium while Al Bayan Institute of Cox's Bazar beat Biddyut Unnayan Board School of Rangamati 3-0 at the Cox's Bazar Stadium.

At Patuakhali, local boys Labukhali Habibullah High School comfortably defeated Tajumuddin Chandpur Senior Madrassah of Bhola 2-0 while Kasimpur High School of Barisal came back from a goal down to edge Barguna Collegiate School 3-2 in an exciting match.
