Ramizuddin, 80, the oldest among the people injured in yesterday's bomb attack on the Gazipur district court premises was in and out of consciousness in ward no 31 of Dhaka Medical College Hospital last evening. He apparently chose a wrong day to go to the court to meet his lawyer concerning a property-related litigation travelling a long way from Ratura, Kaliganj. He was talking to his lawyer in hall no 2 on the ground floor of Gazipur Bar Library Bhavan when the suicide bomber exploded the bomb. "Suddenly I heard a loud sound and I don't remember anything else," Ramizuddin recollected during one of his returns to consciousness. Both of his legs and his right arm are riddled with splinters and he has burn injuries all over the body. "Could you please inform my family members? I have come all alone," he was urging anybody who was passing by his bed. Nobody from his family came to the hospital till filing of this report last night. A ward attendant said his wounds were not too deep. Initial medication was provided by the hospital but he will need more medication that may need to be bought from the market.
