US condemns attacks

The US has condemned the bombings in Chittagong and Gazipur and asked the government to bring the perpetrators to justice in a prompt and lawful manner. "We are sorry and extending our condolences to the families and friends of the victims of yesterday's bomb attacks," a spokesman for the US embassy in Dhaka said.
