Members of NDC, AFWC courses call on President


A delegation of military and civil officials of the faculty and course members, who participated in the NDC and AFWC courses of the National Defence College, called on President Iajuddin Ahmed at Bangabhaban in the city yesterday.

The President greeted the officials and expressed hope that the training would help improve their skill. He said the participants of the NDC and AFWC courses have to use their acquired experiences and knowledge during their services to the country and the people.

Iajuddin urged the officials of the civil and military administration to make their contribution to eradicate poverty and expand education considering the present global reality.

The delegation included 55 members from Army, Navy, Air Force, Police and civil service, and two military officials from Sri Lanka and Nepal.

Commandant of the National Defence College Maj Gen Abu Tayeb Mohammad Zahirul Alam, Military Secretary to the President Maj Gen ANM Muniruzzaman and Press Secretary Mokhlesur Rahman Chowhdury were present.
