Kitchen market traders' agitation from Dec 6

Traders of fish and kitchen market in the capital will bring out processions from six points in the city from December 6 to 15 to meet their five-point demand, including installation of ten modern wholesale kitchen markets with cold storage facilities.Under the banner of Dhaka City Fish and Kitchen Market Small Traders' Association, they will also observe a sit-in on the premises of Dhaka City Corporation (DCC) on December 26 demanding immediate ouster of illegal kitchen and hawkers from the market. They will also discuss with different professionals including leaders of trade union and socio-cultural organisations, journalists, intellectuals and lawyers about their demands.
