Seven powerful bombs found in Chuadanga

Police last night recovered seven powerful bombs believed to have been planted to blow off the rail tracks in Alamdanga of Chuadanga.Locals spotted the bombs--three wrapped in red tapes while four in black-- beside the railroads at Dakshin Gobindapur village in Alamdanga upazila at around 8:00pm. Informed, the local police from Munshiganj camp recovered the bombs and later blasted them in a safe place. Sub-Inspector Taiyabur Rahman told The Daily Star that outlawed party operatives might have planted those. "The bombs were powerful and might have been planted to blow off the railroads," he added.
