March past of 66th batch of BDR held


The concluding march past of the 66th batch of Bangladesh Rifles (BDR) was held yesterday on the premises of the Rifles Training Centre and School in Chittagong.

Director General of the BDR Md Jahangir Alam Choudhury inspected the march past and took salute.

Commandant of the training centre, officers of Army, Navy and Air Force, high civil officials and soldiers of all levels of BDR was present at the march past.

After inspecting the march past, the BDR director general said the obedient and discipline life of the soldiers begins with the march past.

"If a soldier follows the four principles -- self-confidence, brotherhood, discipline and competence -- of BDR, the soldier will be able to perform his any duty preserving sovereignty and integrality of the country," he said.

Choudhury congratulated the soldiers to complete their training successfully and also greeted fresh soldier M Rajib Hossain to be adjusted as the best recruit.
