Victoria Sporting Club kept their hopes alive to return to the Premier League when they climbed to third place in the First Division Football League standings with a 1-0 win over Agrani Bank yesterday.Mithu scored the lone goal on the stroke of halftime at the Birshreshtha Shaheed Mostafa Kamal Stadium in Kamalapur. Victoria, who also defeated Agrani by the same margin in the first leg, raised their tally to 14 points after eight rounds while Agrani were stuck on their previous collection of six points.
