The England-bound Bangladesh national cricket team will return to Dhaka today at the end of their two-week residential camp in Chitta-gong.This was for the first time that the Tigers had their main practice ahead of a major tour at a different location other than Dhaka. Habibul Bashar's men also took a couple of days off for a nice little excursion by the beaches of Cox's Bazar during their stay in the port city. The Tigers are scheduled to take part in a final gym session on May 1 before the 16-member side leaves Dhaka on May 6 for their first ever Test series in England. After the two-match Test series, Bangladesh will feature in a triangular one-day tournament involving world champions Australia and the home side. The team concentrated mainly on the physical aspects since the camp began at the Bangladesh Army Stadium on April 4. They only had a week's net practice at the newly built Chittagong Divisional Stadium. Captain Bashar however, was satisfied with the preparation and was particularly impressed with the arrangements at the Divisional Stadium. "I must say this time the training schedule was superb and we thoroughly enjoyed the camp. It is true that we were in the nets for just seven days but the players got the opportunity to spent a lot of time there," said Bashar on Friday. "We will play three three-day games before the Test series which will help us to get familiar with English conditions," he added. Bashar was all praise for the Cox's Bazar break. "Believe me the two days by the sea was absolutely refreshing. Sometimes you can get bored by the sameness of training and that is why a change is always welcome."
